Polo Reunion

My friends Jocelyn and Kristin organized a little reunion dinner for our old teammates. A lot of my old teammates are scattered around the globe, but it was a lot of fun to get together and tell funny Jovan stories. I couldn't believe how much some people grew up... Alana is in law school. Last time I saw her she was a little freshman.

"No Water Polo... I Love Hockey," said Gavin Jones

My heart broke today as my son uttered (shouted) the words... "no water polo, I love hockey!"

(Gavin loves the fact that he has the snack lady tied around his little finger and she gives him candy and chips for free)

Lately, I've been taking him to watch water polo games. I go to watch the girls I trained this past fall. I love the smell of the chlorine, the sound of the whistle, the feeling of the warm sun! I miss playing so much. I'm not excited about living the latter part of my life in a freezing cold ice rink.
