Marshmallohoho

The "Little Elves' Workshop" is a little store at Hannah's pre-school set up for the students to purchase gifts for Mommy and Daddy. Parents were to donate inexpensive items for the Little Elves' Workshop and then send $2 with their child to purchase a gift from the Little Elves' Workshop. The last day of school Hannah got to bring home her gifts for Mommy and Daddy hidden in decorated paper bags. They were "pecial prize" (special prize) and she wouldn't tell us what she got for us. The day finally arrived, I think she was more excited to give us our gifts, than she was to open her presents. Mommy got lotion and a calendar. Daddy got a long-marshmallow-legged Santa. So funny... she was so excited about it.

Gavin's New Toy

Grandma Brown gave Gavin this toy for Christmas, he loves it! It is one of the classic toys that have managed to survive generation after generation of kids. Just like those stacking rainbow colored rings. Whenever Gavin sees his toy he RUNS to get it. He loves to push it around making it pop, pop, pop.

Bottomless Pit

Gavin has been eating a TON!!! He has been eating so much food that it credits his very own blog. He ate a bowl of oatmeal with raisins, two eggs, a piece of toast, and a banana. That was only for breakfast. I kept waiting for him to sign, "all done" but he kept doing, "more." In this picture he just ate dinner two hours ago and this was his bedtime snack. He ate a whole peanut butter and jam sandwich, a banana, and some raisins. I gave him a cookie too. He is such a growing boy.

Chocolate Covered Hannah

Today we made Christmas treats to give to our friends. Hannah made these chocolate pretzels all by herself. She put the pretzels on the cookie sheet, unwrapped the kisses, and put them on the pretzels.

Mommy put them in in oven to make the chocolate soft and then we put the M&M's on it to smash the chocolate. Hannah likes to put 5 or 6 M&M's on each pretzel, Mommy uses one.

Hannah loved to eat her creation. They were really good. Something tells me we are going to have to make more... a lot more!

Ohh Come Little Children

Today was Hannah's Christmas Program at Pre-school. Her class dressed up as angels. The other classes dressed up as barn animals, wise men, stars, and the best were the shepherds and sheep. Each class took their turn singing cute little Christmas songs connected with their holiday attire. Hannah's class sang, "9 Little Angels" and "Once There was an Angel." Of course every class had that one rowdy kid that spoiled the song, but Kevin gets a kick out of those kids... probably because he was one of them! Haha!

Grandma and Grandpa Brown made the long drive from Burbank with Marilyn to make it. Mark was able to come as well. Hannah had a pretty good cheering section. We definitely had a lot of fun.

After the program we were invited to her class. She was excited to show Grandma and Grandpa her class and where HER cubby is.
Wondering where the title of the post came from? Hannah has been singing, "ohh come little children" for the past two weeks. We finally got to see her sing the whole song at the close of the program.

Happy Birthday Hannah!

It finally happened! Hannah has been looking forward to her birthday since June! Everyday she would talk about her birthday. When you asked her how old she was, she would reply, "I be three my birthday!" She wasn't two, she was going to be three on her birthday. Whenever she saw something at a store she wanted she would say, "You buy dat my birthday!"
Mommy and Daddy got her some cute "Cilella" pajamas.

Hannah wanted a blue Princess cake for her birthday party. Mommy got adventurous and tried fondont. Hannah's cake was quite labor intensive, but she LOVED it. It was just what she wanted. Mommy doesn't know if she wants to work with fondont again.

Hannah and her friends had a Princess Parade at her birthday party. Grandma Lee made jeweled crowns and pink sparkly capes for everyone. They were so cute walking around the house.
Hannah got a TON of Disney Princess stuff. We are talking; sheets for her bed, towels, shoes, dresses, blankets, memory game, dolls, magnetic paper dolls, you name it, she got it! She even got a suitcase from Mamo J (Kevin's Mom) and it comes with a plane ticket to Ohio. Hannah is going to Ohio all by herself because she is a big girl. Well, she will be flying to Ohio with Mamo J and back home with Mommy and Gavin.
