It was such a beautiful day at Disneyland. The weather was perfect and the crowds were minimal. We scored a couple of pictures with a few characters. Minnie was all dressed up for the Chinese New Year. I had to explain to Hannah that Minnie has a lot of dresses and that is why Minnie didn't have her pink dress on to match Hannah.
We saw Goofy too.
Hannah got another Princess, Ariel.
We were third in line to see Alice and then she left, it was mob mentality with all the parents trying to squeeze one last picture with Alice in. I can't say that I didn't participate in this group behavior because...
I got it!!! And I taught Hannah an important life lesson about being aggressive or working hard to get what you want. Seriously, it brought out the worst in me.
We went on the Alice in Wonderland ride, the Teacups, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

LA Zoo
The zoo seemed like such a nice family outing. It was a big mistake for us to go. We didn't get there until nap time, so no naps were taken. There were so many people there!!! I have never seen the zoo so crowded. Gavin was so miserable by the time we got to the tigers. I put Hannah and Gavin in the stroller and just started running. It was so crowded I wanted to leave!!! I just kept running, dodging people, trying to get to the car so that Gavin could go to sleep, anything to get him to sleep. Here are a few pictures from the beginning of our trip, when everyone was happy.

Happy Valentine's Day
Why do I do this kind of stuff? I signed up to bring cups to Hannah's Valentine's Day Party at preschool. I thought I should make coasters too. I used my scrapbook paper. I'm trying to use it more since I have so much. I cut out hearts and laminated them, then I put stickers on the cups. I had the straws so I thought, "what the heck!" So here is my creation. I think it's so cute!

Soccer Sunday
We decided to go to the park today since it was so warm. We had a lot of fun playing soccer.
Hannah starts playing indoor soccer at the YMCA in April so we want her to get used to kicking the ball. Daddy even got cones to make goals.
Kevin taught Hannah and Gavin how to kick the ball.
Hannah did a good job running all over the place dribbling the ball.
Gavin hasn't quite figured it out. He likes to pick up the ball and throw it.
It's a little scary to mix the two, Hannah kicking and Gavin trying to pick up the ball.
Mom even got in on the action.
We had a wonderful time and can't wait to play soccer again! Just look at Gavin's smile. I just LOVE it!

One Hand Two Fingers
We went to the Aquarium of the Pacific. Marilyn and Grandma Brown took Hannah and Gavin to the Aquarium last August, so Hannah knew what fun she was going to have.
Gavin, on the other hand, was napping when we arrived.
We went to the Aquarium with Catrina, Carson ("the Carc"), Shawna, and Baby Ellie. Since they were coming from Burbank we had to wait a little bit. Hannah and Gavin had fun chasing the birds.
I put them both in the stroller and chased the birds. Gavin would point to a bird and I would run and chase it. I didn't feel so bad harassing the birds because they got us back when we were eating our lunch. Poor Hannah dropped her cookie and there were about 100 birds fighting over it. She was devastated. It was a cookie massacre.
The Aquarium's rule when touch the animals is "One Hand Two Fingers." I have to give Hannah a ton of credit on that one. I tried to touch a stringray with only one finger and she was quick to correct my deviance. See Hannah using two fingers to touch a big black stingray!
Hannah loved to touch the starfish and the sea enenomies. The sea enenome was sticky. The Aquarium lady taught Hannah the sea enenome was stinging her but her skin is too thick to penetrate so it felt sticky instead.
Gavin wasn't too excited to touch the squishy, sticky, and slippery sea creatures. Sometimes he would reach down and touch a shark or the sticky sea enenome but most of the time he would just look at everything.
We had a really fun time at the Aquarium. I did find the best deal to go, if you borrow a book from our local library and bring in your receipt, you get 50% off of the General Admission. Not too bad!
