"No Water Polo... I Love Hockey," said Gavin Jones
My heart broke today as my son uttered (shouted) the words... "no water polo, I love hockey!"

Lately, I've been taking him to watch water polo games. I go to watch the girls I trained this past fall. I love the smell of the chlorine, the sound of the whistle, the feeling of the warm sun! I miss playing so much. I'm not excited about living the latter part of my life in a freezing cold ice rink.

Thanks so much for the Christmas card, it was awesome! You guys are so busy!! I can't believe how grown up and adorable Gavin and Hannah are!!! Wish we were as sporty as you! Man the kids love it so much! And I also have to second that water polo is much better! Thanks for all the comments, it's nice to know we still have friends even though we are so far away.

Yeah there was no talk of water polo when we babysat him the other night. All he wanted to do was play "hockey fight" with Justin! I am sure glad he recognizes that the difference between male and female and that he always goes to Justin to play hockey fight!

ok, I cant cut out dairy, COMPLETELY. but I cut out a TON. and you are so funny. you are the same way. I guess it just sticks with you after being raised with sports.
