First Stitches
As a mom it's important to record your children's firsts. Today, Hannah had her first stitches. She slammed the back door shut and it ripped the skin off on the top of her foot. Luckily, Hannah's doctor was available to do the stitches and there was no nerve damage. Kevin was able to meet us to watch Gavin.
Hannah was so brave, she didn't even cry. It was quite painful for her, but she toughed it out and held completely still.
She got an ice cream cone when it was all done.

Poor Hannah!!!! I had my first stitches when I was I think 9 months old. My mom said I fell off the couch onto my brother's mini fire truck haha.
Oh my gosh!! I saw the big bandage tonight on her foot. I asked her what happen and she told me she hurt foot on her back door. She didn't mention stitches!!
Ouch! That's all I can say!
Ahhh! I hate blood. GOod thing it was you and not me COurt! WE're going to Utah in 2 weeks but if you're available next week we'll be here. I think you said you're leaving though right?
